There is some evidence that sea levels around the earth are rising due to global warming. Some low lying islands of the pacific and the Indian oceans have already reported increased erosion of their beaches and that during storm periods, waves are reaching further inland ” (1)

                        Pollution occurs when substances with harmful effects are released into the environment and affected the quality of the environment. (2)





PROJECT REPORT  ( Under Test condition)

You Will Complete an Inquiry – based investigation task on a topic related to the theme of Pollution and Global warming.

The purpose of the task is to help you to develop your research skills as well as learn about how our decision affects the future of human and the environments.
Inquiry- based learning is a process where students are involved in their own learning. Students formulate a clear and focused research question.

For example: How can I Protect this Environment?

The inquiry based task involves the following steps:
Ø      Formulates a clear and focused research question.
Ø      Formulates and follows detailed action plan to investigate a research question. Such as:
o       Planning
o       Gathering information.
o       Processing information.
o       Creating a answer.
o       Evaluating the answer.
Ø      Use methods accurately to collect and record appropriate and varied information consistent with research question.
Ø      Effectively addresses the research question.
Ø      You have to use mind map.

           
Guidelines


You may use following point to develop your Project Report

Introduction
  • Identify the Causes of  pollution by human activity .

Body

  • Define and Illustrate various type of pollution. (Bar graph showing the pollution condition of the world)
  • Investigate into the impacts of Global Warming and Ozone depletion in the world. Elucidate the conditions under which Ozone depletion  are Occurred.
  • Formulate data tables on the impact of Global warming on the life of people in the world.



Conclusion

  • Suggest the measures to reduce the impact of global warming, Pollution and Ozone depletion. ( Role of Individuals ,government and International Agreements)
